Arts & Crafts Room at Independence Center
Location: Independence Center, 2460 Hampton Road
Arts & Crafts Room Facility and Equipment Regulations - The Arts and Crafts room is considered closed when a class is in session.
Only those members signed up for the class are to be in the room. - SCAAC Club members are given preference to attend classes.
- Non-members may take classes if there is room in the class.
- Guests must be accompanied by a SCA resident and may only attend a class
if the instructor gives permission. - The instructor must check the roll sheet to insure that all those in
attendance have paid for the class. - All students are responsible for cleaning up their supplies and trash
after class. - The instructor is to insure that the room is left clean and all supplies
are picked up and stored properly. - Members as well as the instructor are to make sure any tools or machines
are turned off, cleaned and cooled before storing. - Members may use the room for Arts and Crafts when no class is in session.
- Monthly classes will be scheduled at the previous month’s business
meeting. - SCAAC Club members and SCA members will be given preference for teaching
classes in Arts and Crafts providing he/she possesses the skills, knowledge and the ability to teach that class. - Outside instructors may teach a class providing no SCA member desires to
teach that class. Outside instructors must have the approval of the SCAAC Club Board. back
